Commenting on behalf of the organisation

The deruglation, or downgrading of regulations pertaining to nuclear waste must not be allowed to take place. Nuclear waste is a deadly poison and genetic mutagen to virtually all living things, and the evidence is conclusive that there is no "safe" level of ionizing radiation. Instead of protecting the nuclear industry and facilitating its growth around the world, your organization has an ethical responsibility to protect human life and the vast and complex web of life upon which we all depend for our health, our food, and our economic wellfare. Ionizing radiation is the antithesis of life, and must not be allowed to be released into the living environment. Sincerely, Peter Alexander Executive Director Biodiversity Project
